i don't really value a PhD. it's quite bullshit. make up some weeny, insignificant tangent and write a 'research paper' on it. that is unless it's on scientific or mathematical things. my dad has a PhD. you'd never think so by just talking to him. i spent a considerable amount of time in my childhood typing the damn thing. perhaps that's why i have such an ambivalent attitude about it.
what/who are happy friends? the picture looks a little macabre.
